The Telecommunications Officer manages the hotel telephone switchboard and communication systems, handling internal and external calls, guest requests, wake-up calls, messages, and emergency communications. Candidates should have strong spoken English, clear telephone etiquette, basic computer and telephony-system knowledge, and preferably experience in hotel communications, customer service, or a similar role. The position requires a calm, professional manner, accurate information handling, attention to detail, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. The successful candidate is expected to provide prompt and courteous service, protect guest confidentiality, coordinate effectively with hotel departments, and respond appropriately during urgent situations.
