Destination Guide

Australia offers hospitality opportunities in hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, tourism and corporate sales, particularly in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and regional destinations. Australian workplaces generally value punctuality, practical communication, teamwork, safety and a healthy work-life balance. Perth provides a relaxed coastal lifestyle, outdoor activities, beaches, diverse food and relatively sunny weather, although housing and transport costs should be considered. International applicants usually need a suitable visa, such as an employer-sponsored visa, Working Holiday visa or another work-authorised pathway; conditions and age limits vary, so applicants should check the Australian Department of Home Affairs. Relocation planning should include health insurance, accommodation, tax-file registration, banking and proof of qualifications or work history. Hospitality work may involve weekends, public holidays and seasonal demand, while sales roles commonly require local networking and knowledge of the market.
