Job Description

The Assistant Director of Sales is expected to support the Director of Sales in achieving room, resort, events, and other commercial revenue targets for Our Habitas Ras Abrouq. Requirements typically include several years of hotel or luxury hospitality sales experience, strong knowledge of local and international markets, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to manage corporate, leisure, group, and partnership accounts. The successful candidate should be commercially minded, confident presenting to clients, skilled at building long-term relationships, and comfortable working with revenue, marketing, reservations, and operations teams. Experience with luxury resorts, destination hospitality, or pre-opening environments is advantageous. Flexibility, cultural awareness, teamwork, and a genuine interest in creating distinctive guest experiences are also expected.

Company Info

Our Habitas is a global hospitality and lifestyle brand focused on creating meaningful places, community-led experiences, and responsible travel. Rather than operating as a conventional luxury hotel group, it combines accommodation with wellness, culture, nature, food, music, and locally inspired programming. Our Habitas Ras Abrouq is located on Qatar’s dramatic western coastline, surrounded by desert landscapes and close to the UNESCO-listed Al-Reem Biosphere Reserve. The property is designed as an immersive desert destination, offering guests a slower, more experiential form of luxury. Accor became a strategic partner in the expansion of Our Habitas, supporting the brand’s international growth while allowing it to retain its distinctive identity. Employees can expect an international workplace, strong emphasis on guest connection and sustainability, and opportunities to work in a remote resort setting where creativity, collaboration, and community engagement are central to the experience.

Destination Guide

Qatar is a peninsula rather than an island, with Doha serving as the main commercial and cultural hub. Hospitality offers opportunities in luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, events, tourism, wellness, and destination management, particularly as the country expands its leisure and business tourism sectors. Life is modern, safe, and convenient, with excellent shopping, dining, healthcare, and international schools. Local culture values hospitality, modest dress, family life, and respect for Islamic traditions; alcohol is restricted to licensed venues. Summers are extremely hot, while winter is pleasant and popular for outdoor activities. Most overseas employees require employer-sponsored work and residence permits, and the company normally manages the visa process, medical checks, and Qatar ID application. Relocating employees should confirm accommodation, transport, insurance, flights, and leave benefits in the contract. Remote resorts such as Ras Abrouq may provide staff housing or transport, but daily life can be quieter and more isolated than in Doha.
