Job Description

The Seasonal Cook prepares high-quality dishes according to Fairmont recipes, presentation standards, and food-safety requirements. Candidates should have professional kitchen experience, sound knowledge of cooking methods, sanitation, portion control, and safe food handling. Training in culinary arts and experience in a luxury hotel or busy restaurant are advantageous. The role requires reliable attendance, flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to remain calm during busy service periods. The successful candidate will work cooperatively with chefs and colleagues, maintain a clean and organized workstation, control waste, follow instructions accurately, and consistently deliver attractive, well-prepared food while providing attentive service to hotel guests.
