Job Description

The Waiter/Waitress at Nadaman is responsible for welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, explaining Japanese dishes, serving meals efficiently, clearing tables and processing guest requests professionally. Candidates should have previous experience in a hotel, restaurant or Japanese dining environment, strong customer-service skills and a pleasant, well-presented manner. Good spoken English is generally required; Cantonese, Mandarin or Japanese would be advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to work accurately under pressure, maintain high hygiene and service standards, cooperate with the kitchen and restaurant team, and provide attentive hospitality consistent with Shangri-La’s standards. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is normally expected.
