Flower Shop Manager

Job Description

The Flower Shop Manager oversees the hotel flower shop, including floral design, purchasing, stock control, merchandising, daily operations, sales and customer service. Requirements typically include several years of experience in floral retail, hospitality or a related luxury-service environment, strong knowledge of flowers and plant care, and proven supervisory or management ability. The candidate should be creative, commercially minded and confident handling corporate, wedding and special-event orders. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, budgeting ability and a polished service approach are expected. Experience with staff scheduling, supplier coordination, inventory systems and meeting sales targets is advantageous. Cantonese and English are useful in Hong Kong, while Mandarin may be an additional advantage.
