Job Description

The Executive Housekeeper leads the hotel’s housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and service facilities meet Shangri-La’s luxury standards. Requirements typically include a diploma or degree in hotel management, several years of supervisory or executive housekeeping experience in an upscale hotel, strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, laundry, budgets, inventory and health and safety. The successful candidate should be organised, service-oriented and capable of managing multicultural teams, training staff, controlling costs and coordinating effectively with Front Office, Engineering and other departments. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, professional presentation and flexibility to work weekends and public holidays are expected.
