Job Description

The Sous Chef – Korean Cuisine supports the Chef de Cuisine in managing daily kitchen operations, preparing authentic Korean dishes, maintaining consistent quality, and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards. Candidates should have professional experience in Korean cuisine, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant, with strong knowledge of ingredients, techniques, menu preparation, and kitchen cost control. The role requires leadership, teamwork, organization, and the ability to train and supervise culinary staff. Shangri-La expects a hands-on, creative, disciplined candidate who can maintain high service standards, work efficiently under pressure, and deliver an excellent guest dining experience.
