The General Technician supports the hotel’s Engineering and Maintenance team by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, plant equipment, electrical systems, plumbing, air-conditioning and other building services. Candidates are generally expected to hold relevant technical training or a trade certificate, with practical experience in hotel, commercial-building or facilities maintenance preferred. Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing or HVAC systems is valuable. The role requires good troubleshooting ability, safe working practices, a service-minded attitude and the ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests.
