Security Supervisor

Job Description

The Security Supervisor supports the protection of guests, colleagues, hotel assets and premises at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Requirements typically include relevant hotel, hospitality, security or law-enforcement experience, supervisory ability, good communication skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of emergency procedures, access control, incident reporting and fire and life-safety standards. A valid local security qualification or licence may be required. The successful candidate is expected to lead security officers professionally, monitor patrols and surveillance systems, respond promptly to incidents, assist guests courteously, coordinate with emergency services, maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hotel policies. Shift work, weekends and public holidays are normally required, together with physical fitness, integrity, discretion and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
