Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer helps protect guests, employees, property and hotel assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Responsibilities typically include patrolling hotel areas, monitoring CCTV and access points, responding to incidents, preparing reports, assisting during emergencies and enforcing hotel safety procedures. Candidates should usually have relevant security or hospitality experience, good communication skills, physical fitness, integrity and a calm, professional manner. Knowledge of local safety practices, basic first aid and Cantonese, English or Mandarin may be advantageous. The role requires shift work, including overnight, weekend and public-holiday duties, with a strong focus on discretion, customer service and attention to detail.
