Job Description

The Waiter/Waitress at Hung Tong is responsible for welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving Cantonese cuisine, clearing tables and ensuring an excellent dining experience. Candidates should have relevant experience in a hotel or quality restaurant, good knowledge of service standards, and an interest in Chinese cuisine. Strong communication skills in Cantonese and English are expected; Mandarin is an advantage. The role requires a polished appearance, attention to detail, teamwork, reliability and the ability to remain calm during busy service periods. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays is essential. A friendly, guest-focused attitude and willingness to learn Shangri-La service procedures are also important.
