Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees room attendants and public-area staff, ensuring guestrooms and facilities meet Shangri-La cleanliness and service standards. Requirements typically include previous hotel housekeeping experience, supervisory or team-lead experience, strong attention to detail, knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety practices, and good communication skills. The successful candidate should be organized, physically fit, guest-focused, dependable, and comfortable working shifts, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities may include assigning daily tasks, inspecting rooms, controlling supplies, handling guest requests, training staff, reporting maintenance issues, and coordinating with Front Office and Engineering.
