Its Philippine portfolio includes well-known properties such as Shangri-La The Fort, Manila; Edsa Shangri-La, Manila; and Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu. The group is recognised for personalised service, premium accommodation, restaurants, wellness facilities, and strong attention to guest experience. Destination Guide

The Philippines offers hospitality opportunities across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, especially in Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, and other resort destinations. Hotel work can provide strong exposure to international guests, but schedules are often demanding during holidays and peak seasons. Filipino culture is warm, welcoming, family-oriented, and generally English-friendly. Lifestyle varies from busy urban living in Manila to a slower beach-focused pace in island resorts; transport, internet, and healthcare are usually better in major cities. Foreign employees normally need an employer-sponsored work permit and an appropriate visa, commonly arranged with assistance from the company. Requirements can include a valid passport, employment contract, immigration approvals, and medical or government documentation. Before relocating, confirm salary, service charge, housing, meals, insurance, contract terms, and the cost of living in the specific destination.
