Destination Guide

The Philippines offers hospitality and sales opportunities in Metro Manila, Cebu, Boracay, Palawan, and other resort destinations. Manila provides the broadest corporate market and urban lifestyle, while Cebu, Boracay, and Palawan offer tourism-focused work with a more relaxed island setting. Filipino culture is warm, family-oriented, social, and strongly service-minded; English is widely used in business and hotels. Living costs vary, with Manila generally more expensive than provincial destinations. Foreign nationals usually need an employer-sponsored work permit and appropriate visa, commonly involving Department of Labor and Employment approval and an immigration work visa. Employers often guide the application process, but requirements can change. Candidates should confirm visa, accommodation, taxation, healthcare, and relocation terms before accepting an offer.
