Senior Security Officer

Job Description

The Senior Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, hotel property and assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Typical duties include monitoring security systems, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, preparing reports, controlling access and supporting emergency procedures. Candidates should have relevant hotel, security or law-enforcement experience, good knowledge of safety procedures, strong observation and communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A security licence, first-aid training and fluency in English and Cantonese are advantageous. The role requires shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays, as well as professional customer service and strict confidentiality.
