Job Description

The Director of Sales is responsible for leading the hotel’s sales strategy, driving room, events, meetings and corporate business, and building strong relationships with key accounts, travel partners and local organizations. Candidates typically need a degree or diploma in hospitality, business or a related field, along with substantial hotel sales experience, preferably at director or senior managerial level. Strong knowledge of the Malaysian and international tourism markets, negotiation ability, budgeting skills and excellent communication are expected. The successful candidate should be commercially minded, target-driven, well presented and capable of motivating a sales team while working closely with revenue management, marketing and operations.
