Floor Supervisor

Job Description

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily housekeeping operations, inspecting guest rooms and public areas, coordinating room assignments, and ensuring Shangri-La’s cleanliness and service standards are consistently met. The role typically requires previous hotel housekeeping experience, supervisory ability, good knowledge of cleaning procedures, and strong attention to detail. Candidates should be organized, physically fit, service-oriented, and comfortable working shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Good communication skills are important for coordinating with housekeeping colleagues, maintenance, front office, and guests. The successful candidate is expected to coach team members, report maintenance issues, handle guest requests professionally, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
