Job Description

The Telephone Operator supports Shangri-La Singapore’s Service Centre by answering and directing calls, responding to guest requests, recording messages, and coordinating with hotel departments to ensure prompt service. Candidates should have excellent spoken English, a pleasant telephone manner, good listening and communication skills, and basic computer proficiency. Previous experience in hotel operations, a call centre, or guest services is helpful. The role requires a professional appearance, patience, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm while handling multiple requests. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays is expected. A genuine interest in hospitality and a commitment to Shangri-La’s service standards are important.
