General Ledger Supervisor

Job Description

The General Ledger Supervisor oversees daily ledger activities, month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with several years of hotel or corporate accounting experience. Knowledge of Malaysian accounting requirements, taxation, audit procedures, and accounting systems is advantageous. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound analytical ability, leadership skills, confidentiality, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate is expected to supervise the accounts team, meet reporting deadlines, identify discrepancies, support audits, and work closely with department heads and management.
