Job Description

ANZ is seeking a Manager, Operational Risk supporting its Business and Private Banking division in Australia. The role typically requires experience in operational risk management, risk frameworks, controls, incident assessment, governance, and regulatory obligations, preferably within banking or financial services. Strong knowledge of risk identification, control testing, remediation, reporting, and risk appetite is expected. The successful candidate will provide practical advice to business leaders, challenge risk decisions constructively, support risk and control assessments, and promote a strong risk culture. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical ability, sound judgement, and the capacity to influence senior executives are important. Relevant qualifications in risk, finance, business, or a related discipline are advantageous.
