Job Description

The Senior Manager, Operational Risk – Products & Deposits is responsible for identifying, assessing and managing operational risks across ANZ’s product and deposit portfolios. Requirements typically include significant experience in operational risk, risk and control assessment, banking products, governance frameworks and regulatory obligations. Strong knowledge of incident management, control effectiveness, risk appetite and reporting is expected. The successful candidate should be able to influence senior stakeholders, challenge business decisions constructively, translate complex risks into practical actions and lead improvements across a large financial institution. Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and people leadership skills are important, together with relevant banking, risk, compliance or audit experience.
