Job Description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading site maintenance activities, ensuring safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of plant and equipment. Requirements typically include relevant engineering, trade or technical qualifications, substantial maintenance leadership experience, and knowledge of industrial assets, preventative maintenance and reliability improvement. The successful candidate is expected to lead and develop maintenance teams, manage contractors and budgets, improve equipment availability, support shutdown planning, and maintain compliance with Australian safety, environmental and operational standards. Strong communication, problem-solving, planning and stakeholder-management skills are essential, together with a commitment to safety, continuous improvement and BlueScope’s values.
