Security Officer

Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, employees, hotel property and assets while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment. Typical duties include patrolling the hotel, monitoring CCTV and access points, responding to incidents, preparing reports, supporting emergency procedures and assisting guests when necessary. Candidates are generally expected to have security experience, good physical fitness, strong observation and communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Knowledge of first aid, fire safety and Malaysian security procedures is advantageous. The role requires professionalism, discretion, reliability, teamwork and flexibility to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and public holidays. A valid security licence or relevant training may be required.
