The Business Development Manager will acquire and grow relationships with emerging-enterprise and SME customers across Northern Malaysia. Responsibilities typically include identifying prospects, preparing financing proposals, promoting business banking products, meeting revenue targets, managing customer portfolios and coordinating with credit, operations and risk teams. Candidates are expected to have a degree in business, finance, economics or a related field, together with several years of banking, relationship management or business development experience. Strong knowledge of SME lending, financial analysis, sales planning and credit processes is valuable. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation and networking skills, commercial awareness, integrity and the ability to work independently while meeting challenging targets. Knowledge of the Northern Region market and existing business contacts would be an advantage.
