Job Description

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, ordering, and receiving goods and services required by the hotel while maintaining quality, cost control, and reliable supplier relationships. Candidates typically need purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment, strong knowledge of local suppliers, inventory procedures, contracts, and purchasing systems, and excellent negotiation and communication skills. Fluency in Japanese and English is highly desirable. The successful candidate is expected to be organized, commercially minded, ethical, detail-oriented, and capable of working closely with culinary, housekeeping, engineering, finance, and management teams.
