Job Description

The Pool Mechanic is responsible for maintaining swimming pools, pumps, filtration systems, chemical dosing equipment and related mechanical systems at Four Seasons Mauritius. Requirements generally include practical experience in pool maintenance, mechanical or engineering systems, water treatment and preventative maintenance. Knowledge of pool chemicals, health and safety procedures, plumbing and basic electrical systems is beneficial. The candidate should be physically fit, dependable, detail-oriented and comfortable working outdoors, including weekends and public holidays. Good communication, teamwork and the ability to respond quickly to equipment faults are expected. Previous resort or hotel engineering experience is an advantage. As a foreign worker, the successful candidate must meet Mauritius work-permit and employment requirements.
