Destination Guide

Bali offers strong employment opportunities in luxury resorts, hotels, restaurants, wellness, tourism, events and guest services, particularly in Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Ubud and Canggu. The island blends Hindu-Balinese traditions with modern international living. Daily life includes temple ceremonies, community events, beaches, surfing, yoga and a busy hospitality scene. Costs vary widely: staff accommodation can make resort employment more affordable, while popular areas have higher rents and traffic. Indonesia generally requires foreign nationals to hold the correct work and residence permissions; employers normally sponsor the work permit and limited-stay visa, commonly known as KITAS, where applicable. Working on a tourist visa is not permitted. Candidates should confirm salary, service charge, housing, medical cover, tax responsibilities and visa sponsorship before accepting an offer. Bali is warm year-round, with a wetter season roughly from November to March, and respectful dress and behaviour at temples and ceremonies are important.
