Receiving Officer

Job Description

The Receiving Officer is responsible for accepting hotel deliveries, checking quantities and quality against purchase orders, recording goods accurately, and coordinating safe storage with the relevant departments. Requirements typically include previous experience in hotel receiving, storeroom, purchasing, or inventory control; good knowledge of delivery procedures, food safety, and basic computer systems; and the ability to communicate clearly in English. Candidates should be organized, physically fit, detail-oriented, honest, and comfortable working flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Experience with inventory software and familiarity with HACCP procedures are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to maintain accurate records, identify discrepancies, follow health and safety standards, and support Four Seasons service and quality expectations.
