Company Info

Carnival Corporation & plc is one of the world's largest leisure travel companies and a leading operator of cruise brands. Its portfolio includes Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, Cunard, Costa Cruises, AIDA Cruises, P&O Cruises, and P&O Cruises Australia. The company operates a large fleet visiting destinations across the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Asia, Australia, and other regions. Carnival provides vacations that combine accommodation, dining, entertainment, transportation, and shore experiences. Its corporate operations support shipboard hospitality, maritime activities, guest services, technology, commercial functions, and global logistics. The company is headquartered in Miami, Florida, and employs a diverse international workforce across offices, ports, and vessels. Roles focused on delivery and support help maintain reliable systems and services for both shore-based teams and onboard operations.

Destination Guide

Cruise work offers opportunities in guest services, hospitality, food and beverage, entertainment, marine operations, retail, technology, and shipboard support. Life onboard is international and fast-paced, with shared accommodation, long shifts, structured routines, and limited personal space, balanced by travel and access to crew facilities. Crew members interact with passengers and colleagues from many cultures, so flexibility, professionalism, and respect are important. Most shipboard employees need a valid passport, medical clearance, security screening, and a maritime or crew visa when required by the vessel's itinerary, often a C1/D visa for the United States. Employers commonly arrange contracts, embarkation details, and guidance on visas, while employees usually handle passport and document costs. Relocation is generally to the joining port rather than permanent island residence. This particular senior manager role appears primarily shore-based in Miami, so U.S. work authorization and relocation planning may apply.
