This senior role leads strategic sourcing for marketing and corporate services, developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and delivering cost savings while maintaining quality and business value. Candidates are expected to have substantial strategic sourcing or procurement experience, strong knowledge of marketing and professional services categories, and a track record of complex contract negotiation. A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, marketing, or a related discipline is typically required; relevant certifications such as CPSM are advantageous. The successful candidate should be commercially minded, collaborative, ethical, data-driven, and comfortable working across a global cruise organization.

Company Info

Carnival Corporation & plc is one of the world’s largest leisure travel companies and the parent organization of Carnival Cruise Line and several other cruise brands. Headquartered in Miami, Florida, the company operates a large fleet visiting destinations across the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, Australia, and other regions. Its business includes cruise vacations, onboard hospitality, entertainment, dining, retail, excursions, and destination experiences. Carnival employs people both at sea and in shoreside offices, supporting a highly international workforce and complex global supply chain. Carnival Cruise Line is known for offering lively, accessible vacations with a strong focus on fun, family travel, entertainment, and value. Corporate procurement teams help the organization manage suppliers, control costs, support brand operations, and maintain consistent service standards across ships and offices.

Destination Guide

Because this is a shoreside corporate role in Miami rather than an island posting, relocation would generally be to South Florida. Miami offers a multicultural lifestyle, warm weather, beaches, strong Latin American and Caribbean influences, and extensive dining and entertainment, but housing and transportation costs can be high. Carnival and the wider cruise industry also provide opportunities onboard ships and in port operations, including hospitality, culinary, marine, entertainment, guest services, retail, technology, and procurement. Shipboard employees usually work rotational contracts, live onboard, and travel internationally while following structured schedules and maritime safety rules. U.S.-based corporate employees normally need authorization to work in the United States; the employer may specify sponsorship eligibility. Shipboard roles require appropriate visas, medical clearance, passports, and seafarer documentation depending on itinerary and nationality. Candidates should confirm relocation assistance, benefits, and immigration requirements directly with Carnival.
