The Senior Speech and Language Therapist assesses, diagnoses and treats children or adults with communication, language, speech and swallowing difficulties across community settings. Requirements typically include a recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree, current HCPC registration, relevant clinical experience and evidence of continuing professional development. Experience in dysphagia, multidisciplinary working, clinical supervision and managing complex caseloads is desirable.
