Company Info

City Health Care Partnership CIC is a not-for-profit social enterprise providing NHS and community health services across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. It delivers a broad range of services, including primary care, community nursing, sexual health, health visiting, rehabilitation, mental health support, specialist clinics and services for people with long-term conditions. As a Community Interest Company, it reinvests income into improving local healthcare rather than paying profits to shareholders. The organisation works closely with the NHS, local authorities, patients and voluntary-sector partners to provide accessible, coordinated care. Its workforce includes clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, therapists, healthcare assistants, administrators and support professionals. Employees are generally expected to demonstrate compassion, professionalism, respect, safeguarding awareness and a commitment to reducing health inequalities while delivering safe, person-centred services.

Destination Guide

The United Kingdom offers opportunities across the NHS, private healthcare, life sciences, technology, engineering, education, finance and hospitality. Its culture is diverse and generally values punctuality, privacy, politeness and professional accountability. Lifestyle varies from busy cities to quieter coastal and rural areas; public transport is strongest in major urban centres, while housing costs are highest in London and the southeast. Healthcare professionals usually need appropriate UK qualifications, professional registration and evidence of English-language ability. Most overseas workers require a visa, commonly the Skilled Worker visa, with an eligible employer, occupation, salary and certificate of sponsorship. Registration is separate from immigration permission. Relocating involves arranging accommodation, National Insurance, banking, healthcare access and tax registration. Research regional salaries and rental costs carefully, as northern England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland can be more affordable than London. The UK has four nations, each with distinct local cultures, landscapes and public services.
