This role is for a Trust Grade Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, providing senior clinical care across labour wards, antenatal and postnatal services, gynaecology theatres, clinics and emergency admissions. Applicants would normally need a primary medical qualification, GMC registration or eligibility, relevant postgraduate experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, and evidence of satisfactory clinical competence. Previous NHS experience, appropriate English-language skills, ALS certification and the ability to work safely on a rota are advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to assess and manage patients, perform procedures within their competence, support junior doctors, participate in teaching and audit, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and comply with safeguarding, infection-control, documentation and professional standards.
