This role requires registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council, substantial post-registration hospital pharmacy experience, and advanced clinical knowledge, ideally in paediatrics. The pharmacist will provide specialist medicines advice, support safe and effective prescribing, review complex patients, contribute to multidisciplinary ward rounds, supervise and develop colleagues, and help improve pharmaceutical services across paediatric teams. Candidates are expected to demonstrate sound clinical judgement, excellent communication, leadership, teaching and organisational skills. Experience with medication safety, audit, service development and working with children, young people and their families is highly desirable.
