Job Description

The Community Staff Nurse provides safe, compassionate nursing care to patients in their homes and community settings across Leicestershire. Typical duties include assessment, care planning, wound care, medication support, health education, continence care, symptom monitoring and coordination with GPs, hospitals and other professionals. Candidates should hold an appropriate nursing qualification, be registered with the NMC and demonstrate sound clinical judgement, communication skills and the ability to work independently. A valid driving licence and access to transport may be required. The successful candidate is expected to deliver person-centred care, maintain accurate records, protect confidentiality, manage changing priorities and contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team.
