Applicants should be reliable, physically able to carry out cleaning tasks, willing to work part time across various shifts, and able to follow instructions and detailed procedures. Previous cleaning or healthcare experience is useful but may not be essential, as training is normally provided. The successful candidate is expected to work respectfully around patients, visitors and staff, maintain confidentiality, meet NHS cleanliness standards, and contribute positively to a busy team.
