Medical Workforce Adviser

Job Description

The Medical Workforce Adviser supports the planning, coordination and administration of medical staffing across the Trust. Typical duties include maintaining workforce records, advising managers and doctors on employment processes, supporting recruitment, contracts, rotations, leave, working patterns and rota-related matters, and preparing accurate workforce reports. Applicants are generally expected to have experience in HR, medical staffing, workforce administration or a similar NHS environment, with strong organisational and communication skills. The role requires confidentiality, attention to detail, the ability to interpret policies and employment regulations, and confidence using databases and Microsoft Office. The successful candidate should work collaboratively with clinicians, managers and HR colleagues, manage competing deadlines and provide professional, responsive advice in a busy healthcare setting.
