This role develops Marina Bay Sands’ business and visitor markets in Indonesia through international marketing, strategic partnerships, travel trade relationships, sales campaigns and market intelligence. Candidates are expected to have strong experience in business development, destination marketing, hospitality, tourism or a related commercial field, ideally with knowledge of the Indonesian market. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills are essential. The successful candidate should be commercially minded, comfortable working across cultures, willing to travel, and able to manage projects and performance targets independently. Fluency in English is required; Indonesian language skills and an established network in Indonesia would be valuable. Senior applicants should also demonstrate leadership and experience managing regional stakeholders or teams.
Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort in Singapore operated by Las Vegas Sands. It is internationally known for its three-tower hotel, rooftop Infinity Pool and Sands SkyPark, convention and exhibition facilities, luxury retail, restaurants, entertainment venues and casino. The resort serves leisure travelers, business visitors, meetings and events clients, and international tour markets. Its commercial teams work across hospitality, tourism, destination promotion and high-value customer segments, making the company a prominent employer in Singapore’s tourism and events industry. Marina Bay Sands is also associated with large-scale cultural, entertainment and business events, as well as sustainability and community initiatives. Employees typically work in a multicultural, fast-paced environment with opportunities to collaborate across regional and global markets.
Singapore is a compact island city-state with strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, finance, technology, healthcare, logistics and international business. English is widely used at work, while Mandarin, Malay and Tamil are also official languages. The culture is multicultural, orderly and generally fast-paced, with excellent public transport, safe neighborhoods, diverse food and efficient public services. Housing can be expensive, especially near the central business and resort districts, although public transport makes commuting practical. Employment passes are normally arranged by the employer; managers and professionals commonly use an Employment Pass, subject to salary and eligibility requirements. Candidates should secure approval before starting work and check current Ministry of Manpower rules. Singapore offers a warm tropical climate, modern healthcare, shopping, beaches and easy regional travel. New arrivals should budget carefully for rent, deposits, transport and daily expenses, and confirm whether relocation assistance is included in the employment package.
