Job Description

The Casual Commis at Black Tap supports the kitchen team with food preparation, basic cooking, plating, and maintaining clean, organized workstations. Candidates should have an interest in culinary work, a positive attitude, good teamwork, and the ability to follow recipes, food-safety procedures, and instructions accurately. Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is helpful but may not be essential. The role requires flexibility to work casual shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Candidates should be physically able to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, handle kitchen equipment safely, and maintain consistent standards of hygiene, quality, and service.
