It is one of the city’s most recognisable destinations, combining luxury hotels, convention and exhibition facilities, restaurants, theatres, retail attractions, a casino and major entertainment venues. The resort employs a large, multicultural workforce across hospitality, gaming, events, retail, technology and corporate functions. Its scale creates opportunities to work with international teams and develop expertise in a highly service-focused environment. Employees can expect a structured corporate setting, high service standards, extensive cross-functional collaboration and opportunities connected to large-scale events and premium guest experiences.

Destination Guide

Singapore is a compact island city-state with strong opportunities in hospitality, tourism, finance, technology, healthcare, logistics and professional services. The culture is multicultural, efficient and generally respectful, with English widely used in workplaces. Lifestyle options include excellent public transport, diverse food, shopping, beaches, parks and a busy calendar of arts and international events. Housing can be expensive, especially in central areas, so newcomers often compare shared apartments, suburban rentals and employer benefits. Foreign professionals generally need an Employment Pass, while qualifying mid-skilled roles may use an S Pass; the employer usually submits the application and approval depends on salary, qualifications and current immigration rules. New arrivals should arrange accommodation, insurance, banking and local registration, and budget for deposits and daily expenses. Singapore’s safe, clean environment and strong infrastructure make relocation relatively straightforward.
