Job Description

A Firewall Engineer designs, implements, configures and maintains enterprise firewall and network security environments. Typical requirements include experience with firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco or Check Point, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, NAT, intrusion prevention and security policies, and familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, PCNSE, NSE or equivalent are advantageous. The candidate is expected to manage incidents and changes, support audits, document configurations, work within ITIL processes and collaborate effectively with infrastructure, cloud and cybersecurity teams. Strong communication, analytical ability and a focus on secure, reliable service delivery are essential.
