Destination Guide

Australia offers strong opportunities for SAP, cloud, cybersecurity, data and consulting professionals, especially in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Canberra. Workplaces are generally collaborative, practical and relatively informal, while diversity and work-life balance are valued. The lifestyle includes beaches, national parks, outdoor sports, multicultural cities and a high standard of living, although housing and childcare can be expensive. Skilled professionals may qualify for employer-sponsored visas such as the Skills in Demand visa, or points-based skilled visas including subclasses 189 and 190, subject to occupation lists and eligibility. Relocation usually involves skills assessment, English-language evidence, health and police checks, and professional recognition where required. Research state nomination rules, tax, healthcare and rental markets before moving. Australia is geographically vast, so commuting and regional location should be considered carefully.
