Job Description

The Indian Chef is responsible for preparing authentic Indian dishes, maintaining consistent food quality, managing kitchen hygiene, and supporting smooth daily kitchen operations. Candidates should have professional experience in Indian cuisine, strong knowledge of spices, cooking techniques, menu preparation, food safety, and portion control. Experience in a hotel or upscale restaurant is preferred, along with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and lead or support kitchen colleagues. The successful candidate is expected to maintain Shangri-La standards, control food costs, reduce waste, follow health and safety procedures, and deliver attractive, flavorful dishes that meet guest expectations. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
