Senior Security Officer

Job Description

The Senior Security Officer is responsible for protecting guests, colleagues, property and hotel assets at Shangri-La in Hong Kong. Requirements typically include relevant hotel, commercial or public-security experience, good knowledge of emergency procedures, incident reporting, access control and CCTV operations. A valid local security personnel permit may be required. The candidate should be physically fit, observant, calm under pressure and confident handling emergencies, disputes and investigations. Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese are generally expected, while Mandarin is an advantage. The role requires shift work, including nights, weekends and public holidays, with professional guest service and strict confidentiality at all times.
