Candidates should have solid carpentry and joinery experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or commercial property, with practical knowledge of woodworking tools, materials and finishing techniques. The role requires the ability to read basic drawings, diagnose maintenance issues, complete work safely and to a high standard, and respond to repair requests promptly. Good communication, teamwork, attention to detail and a customer-focused attitude are expected. Relevant vocational training, trade certification and several years of experience are advantageous. Shift work, including weekends and public holidays, may be required.
