Job Description

The Chef de Cuisine leads the kitchen operation, develops menus, maintains food quality and presentation, controls costs, and ensures compliance with hygiene and safety standards. Requirements typically include formal culinary training, substantial experience in a hotel or high-end restaurant, strong knowledge of international cuisine, menu planning, food costing, purchasing, and kitchen sanitation. The candidate is expected to lead and motivate culinary teams, manage staffing and service during busy periods, maintain consistent standards, and work closely with Food and Beverage management. Creativity, discipline, organization, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. Experience with luxury hospitality and international hotel brands is highly advantageous.
