The Engineering Coordinator supports the hotel’s Engineering and Maintenance department by managing schedules, work orders, records, purchase requests, reports and communication with colleagues, contractors and suppliers. The role typically requires strong administrative and organisational skills, good English, computer literacy, and confidence using Microsoft Office or hotel maintenance systems. Previous experience in hotel engineering, facilities administration or a similar coordination role is advantageous. The successful candidate should be dependable, detail-oriented and able to prioritise multiple requests in a busy environment. As this is an Emirati National position, UAE nationality is required. The candidate is expected to maintain professional communication, follow health and safety procedures, protect confidential information and contribute to Shangri-La’s high standards of guest service and property maintenance.
