Job Description

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for coordinating room attendants and public-area staff, inspecting guest rooms, maintaining cleanliness standards, managing supplies, and responding to guest requests. Candidates typically need hospitality or housekeeping experience, supervisory ability, good communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with hotel operating procedures. Experience in an international hotel is advantageous. The successful candidate is expected to lead by example, organise daily assignments, resolve service issues promptly, train team members, follow health and safety procedures, and maintain Shangri-La’s standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest service. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays is normally required.
