Candidates should have solid carpentry experience, preferably in a hotel, commercial building or facilities environment, together with practical knowledge of joinery, woodworking tools, finishing materials and workplace safety. Trade qualifications or relevant technical training are advantageous. The role requires attention to detail, good problem-solving ability and the capacity to complete work neatly with minimal disruption to guests. The successful candidate is expected to work independently and as part of the Engineering team, respond promptly to maintenance requests, support preventive maintenance programmes and uphold Shangri-La's standards for quality, appearance, safety and guest service.
